Capacity: Depending on your choice of venue for the ceremony the Chapel seats 70 with an additional 30 in the adjacent Chapter Hall and the Great Hall seats 58.

Colin and Vikki's Wedding - 27th August 2005

Balgoine Castle was a magical place to have the cermony. It is held in the castles chapel and is lit all with candle light. The Laird of the castle is as involved as you want. When I arrived, I got to walk throught the castle grounds with my bridesmaids and make some stunning picture opportunities.

We opted for the bagpiper that the castle supplies at an additional cost, but it was very in keeping. The castle grounds are beautifully kept and again made a lovely backdrop for the picutres. Our reception venue was good too. Only one complaint was that the bar was very busy and quite small. The hotel owner was more than happy to make it our special night. We were given the "honeymoon" suite as a gift from the hotel, but the room was very dated, but it was clean so that was the main thing!
