Heather & Peter's Wedding - 8th Nov 2008

I don't have a bad word to say about the Glenskirlie. The aim of the staff was to make our day run as smoothly as possible without us having to worry about any detail.

Our ceremony ran late (I was over an hour late) and I am sure the kitchens were having a panic but everything ran smoothly and we couldn't have asked for better. Around 40 of our guests were left at another hotel before the ceremony and the staff offered to jump in their own cars to collect the missing guests....above and beyond the call of duty.

I have got no annoying bits about the Glenskirlie - they were brilliant in every way.

On top of a fantastic day, when it came to our 1st anniversary and we went there for dinner, they put us at the table exactly where we said our vows - a lovely touch!

Yvonne & Stephen's Wedding - 2nd May 2008

The good/excellent - the location, style and setting are all perfect! Staying in a castle on your wedding night is awesome. Food is awesome.

The very annoying - no replies received to the few questions we had (dietary requirements and the like - nothing OTT!) No replies received to chase ups. Getting to the day before the wedding and STILL chasing ... not good, not impressive, hugely offputting but in summary we got married where we wanted to and had the most fantastic and amazing day!
