Review

The venue was excellent and the staff were very helpful with all aspects of planning the day. I live in Suffolk and was planning the wedding from 400 miles away but even then there were very few glitches and those that did happen were very easily resolved, though it was made easier that I come from the area.

It also helped that we chose the best weekend for weather and some friends who couldnt make the wedding thought we had actually gone to the Caribbean for our wedding it looked so good.

We didnt want a formal sit down meal so had a BBQ meal, this worked really well, people still had their seats but there was more mingling. My guests all said that the food was lovely.

The only downside was that we used the in-house DJ, who was supposedly a Radio Scotland DJ and was highly recommended. If you do choose this venue then I would stongly suggest that you bring in your own entertainment.

He refused to play what my guests wanted and even though we spoke a lot before the day and I explained what I wanted, and he promised to deliver, he totally failed to supply. Most of my guests said that the music was the only thing that wasn't perfect on the day.

That is the only reasons that I did not give this 5 star as the DJ was recommended by the venue. Everything else was 5 star as far as I was concerned.
